Skills and Training database

This is an MS Access system for recording training attendance and tracking skills.

This was developed to assist an SES training officer to track how members were progressing towards certificate II.

We provided screens to record attendance at training sessions (and other events). There are screens to log participation in the various training topics and record when a member achieves competency in a given area.

The data can be viewed and maintained from the perspective of the individual member/employee showing details of the individual's training history and qualifications, whether arising from the training or externally acquired.

Flexibility

There are administrative tools to maintain the underlying courses, roles and qualifications.

For example the course structure can be easily maintained and provides for a hierarchy of subtopics.
